RUET Shines at 46th ICPC: Heartfelt Congratulations to RUET_Aftermath!

Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology's (RUET) team, RUET_Aftermath, made their mark at the 46th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) held in Luxor, Egypt, on April 18, 2024. This prestigious competition attracts top universities worldwide, showcasing their prowess in programming and ICT skills. Among the select few representing Bangladesh were three universities, including RUET:

1. Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET)
2. Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET)
3. University of Dhaka (DU)

RUET's team, composed of Risal Shahriar Shefin, Sayeef Mahmud, and Adnan Toky from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), displayed their exceptional talent by solving four problems during the contest, earning them an honorable mention. Congratulations to all the Bangladeshi teams for their remarkable participation.

In this edition of the ICPC, Peking University (China) emerged as the champion, with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA) securing the 1st runner-up position, and National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia) as the 2nd runner-up.
